Medications

The most common antimalarial drugs include: 

• Chloroquine (Aralen)  

•  Quinine sulfate (Qualaquin)

•  Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) 

•  Mefloquine 

•  Combination of atovaquone and proguanil (Malarone)
